Welcome to Research College of Nursing
Research College of Nursing is a small fully-accredited private college specializing in quality nursing education since 1905. Currently the college offers Bachelors of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) and Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degrees.
The College is located in Kansas City, Missouri and is sponsored by Research Medical Center. The Medical Center is one of several hospitals and health care facilities that compose HCA Midwest Division, a comprehensive regional health care system that are used as clinical sites. The College has access to current state of the art equipment because of this relationship. Most of the classrooms, skills labs, computer labs and library are located in the Medical Center while the Seelos Center, a classroom, a computer, and faculty, staff, and administration offices are located at Research College of Nursing.
The Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree is offered in partnership with Rockhurst University. The B.S.N. program offers two undergraduate options, a Traditional B.S.N. Option for the student without a college degree and an Accelerated B.S.N. Option for the student with a previous non-nursing college degree. Our partnership with Rockhurst University provides a rich environment for student learning in the liberal arts, humanity and science courses.
The Master of Science in Nursing program offers six graduate tracks: Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Executive Practice and Healthcare Leadership, Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Leader, and RN-MSN. Post-Master certificates are offered in five tracks.
Every state in the U.S. creates its own specific regulations about online enrollment of students who live within the state. Some states require fees and/or application efforts that entail a considerable investment of college resources. In an effort to maintain a reasonable tuition rate, Research College of Nursing currently accepts students into our Master of Science in Nursing program who live in the following states:
For Executive Practice and Healthcare Leadership track: California, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Texas, and Virginia
For Nurse Practitioner tracks: Kansas and Missouri
